FOUR YEARS AGO STARTED OUT AS A WONDERFUL PLAN BUT SINCE THEN THEY HAVE CHISLED ALL OF THEIR COVERAGES AND INCREASED ALL DEDUCTIBLES, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOW *** AS THEY ARE ALL SALES AGENTS, AND ONCE MY MAIN MED WENT OVER $80.00 PER MONTH THEY HAVE TAKEN IT OFF THEIR FORMULARY LIST AND BURIED ME IN PAPERWORK IN ORDER TO APPEAL DESPITE MY DOC STATING THAT IT IS MEDICALLY NECESSARY. NOT SURE HOW OTHER PLANS WORK BUT I WOULD TOTALLY AVOID THIS COMPANY AND GO WITH SOCIAL SECURITY.

ANOTHER MAJOR PROBLEM I HAVE HAD IS THAT I NEEDED A MEDICAL PROCEDURE PERFORMED AND CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ON UP TO THE CHIEF CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR TO TRY TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH OUT-OF-POCKET OR CUSTOMER SHARE THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY AND THEY REFUSED TO TELL ME STATING THAT WAS BETWEEN THEM AND THE PROVIDER TO WORK OUT, THUS LEAVING ME ON LIMITED INCOME TOTALLY IN THE DARK AND UNABLE TO PROCEED TO RECEIVE MY NEEDED OPERATION AS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA, THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND PROVIDERS CAN GO AFTER YOUR HOME AND EVERYTHING ELSE IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PAY WHAT THEY SAY YOU SHOULD PAY -- UNLESS OF COURSE YOU HIRE AN ATTORNEY TO FIGHT FOR YOU, WHICH WE OBVIOUSLY DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO DO THAT AND UHC FULLY KNOWS THAT, SO THEY COLLECT OUR PREMIUMS EACH MONTH AS WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT DELIBERATELY SCREW US TO AVOID HELPING US GET THE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE THAT WE NEED TO GET WELL. AGAIN, AARP UHC IS NO LONGER THE FINE COMPANY THAT IT STARTED OUT TO BE AND THE AARP BASICALLY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND US THEIR MEMBERS AND BASICALLY TELL US THAT IT IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM BUT CONTACT THEIR LICENSEE. IN REGARDS TO BILLING DISPUTES YOU CAN WRITE THEM UNTIL YOU ARE BLUE IN THE FACE AND THEY JUST KEEP SHIFITNG YOU AROUND TO FIRST ONE OF THEIR OFFICES AND THEN ANOTHER WHILE IN THE MEANTIME THE VENDOR IS WRITING YOU NASTY GRAMS AND THREATENING TO SUE YOU. SO IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING INTO AARP MEDICARE COMPLETE, THEN I AM TELLING YOU TO KEEP LOOKING OR GO TO SS-MEDICARE.

ONE MORE PROBLEM TO MENTION -- WHEN YOU CALL THEIR "CUSTOMER sERVICE" DEPARTMENT WITH A COMPLAINT YOU NO LONGER HAVE AN ACCOUNT AGENT TO HELP YOU AND IT IS SOMEBODY DIFFERENT EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU CALL EVEN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM OR INQUIRY -- NO CONTINUITY OF RESPONSES WHICH MOST OF THE TIME ARE NOT DEPENDABLE, INCONSISTENT, ANDAS THE DISCUSSION PROGRESSES THEIR TELEPHONE VOICE GETS DIMMER AND DIMMER AND NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU ASK THEM TO SPEAK LOUDER THE IMPROVEMENT IS ONLY MOMENTARY AND THE RIGHT BACK TO WADING RESPONSES -- VERY VERY ANNOYING AND EMBARRASSING TO HAVE TO KEEP SAYING OVER AND OVER TO SPEAK SLOWER AND LOUDER.
